Aisha has represented clients such as; Romane Fragrances, Italian American Chamber of Commerce, Ebony Magazine, Essence Festival, Ikam Productions, actress Jasmine Guy, Illusions Cosmetics, Dr. David Montgomery, Red Carpet Concierge of Chicago, Christ Universal Temple Church, Diggy Simmons, OMG Girlz, BET Network, and National Basketball Association.
In 1998 Aisha began her journalism career as a field producer for NBC-5 and WFLD-TV in Chicago. After leaving the newsroom Aisha transitioned to entertainment reporting for the Source Awards and MTV Awards.
In 2007 Aisha founded AM Connect PR as an independent publicist for fashion brands and entertainers, where she began to pitch and schedule media interviews, develop and execute strategic marketing and media relation plans.
Some of AM Connects accomplishments include;maintaining a consistent company key message. Placement in national and local publications. Achieved sold out ticket sales at several events, and plays through joint promotional and PR tactics. Coordinated a special screening for the TD Jakes Film “Not Easily Broken.”
Aisha received her BA in Mass Communications from Shaw University where she was nominated Who’s Who Among Colleges and Universities. Aisha was also a graduate assistant and News Director at Murray State University.
